The Pump House

MOVEMENT. It’s what separates the sedentary ones who fear adventure from those of us who seek it. On the mountain we find it through gravity, wind and frozen water. In the Pump House Waterpark, we find it in fluidity, in the crest of the barrel, and in the raucous, reckless fun of children, who have yet to learn the restraint we learn as adults. In the re-created environment of the place we love most, there are no plastic plants. No cartoon mice. No “exit through the
gift shop” business model. Here, the retractable roof brings the outdoors inside. From poolside vistas of the Mountain to the perspective from inside the liquid curl,
we built the Pump House so you can create your own view of what a waterpark should be. A place where hot tubs exist primarily to help legs recover from peaks and powder, where a rock climbing wall reminds you to always climb higher, where the thrill of freefall not only means steep-and-deep cliffs but also an indoor aqualoop which is the only one of its kind in the country. The Pump House is a place for well-earned leisure. A place to experience the Mountain when the Mountain may have beaten you momentarily. A place where the theme is whatever you want it to be. Surf, climb, sit out a rough day or show your kids
how to do a backflip. This is where the downtime between chairlift
rides and ice skating is less time off and more of an elevated experience. Where being fit is more
valued than fitting in. And where the movement of water does more than keep you entertained.
It actually moves you. Dive in.
